Dorothy and Dan, Plus 1

I always love talking to my wedding clients over the years. This time I received a call from Dorothy and Dan whose wedding I photographed in October of 2007. They reside in Arizona, but were visiting family in Connecticut this past week. Since they are expecting their first child they thought it would be nice to go back to the location of the wedding at Harkness Memorial State Park for a photo session. Great to see you you Dorothy and Dan!

Mehron IMATS Show

This past weekend I spent two days at the New York International Make-Up Artist Trade Show with Mehron Makeup and some all start makeup artists. While at the show I was setup to photograph new ads for Mehron. Here are a few of the images I created.

I photographed the Lawrence wedding 5 or 6 years ago. And now it’s the family! Daddy Lawrence couldn’t make it, but we still had a good time on the beach! Kate Parker – Bee and Thistle Inn

This past summer I had an amazing day working with some equally amazing wedding professionals. It was all set up through Kate Parker of Prepare To Wed.com. The photos were taken at The Bee and Thistle Inn in Old Lyme CT. It’s a beautiful place with interesting sculptures all over the grounds. The table setups and dessert bar was setup by Emily’s Catering Group.The invitation pictured was created by Alissa with Mew Paper Arts.

Aiyanna!

I just realized how long it’s been since my last blog post! I’ve been photographing a lot lately, but have had little time to actually work on the images. So here’s the first in a long line of sessions! Aiyanna is back on the blog with her latest session! Her mom saw the special I was having this month (available in the Newsletter!) and took advantage of it. I think I could have photograph this little one all day long. Just some practice for the soon to be addition to my family!

She loved running back and fourth from me to the gazebo. I think she ran out of ideas at one point.

I know I’ve been a little quiet on the blog lately. I’ve had a few shoots that I need to get on here! Kelley and I are in the process of moving, so the next two weeks will be a little quiet throughout my online community.
This just came into me from Mehron Makeup. I shot this last weekend in Manhattan and it is going out in their ads! More photos from the shoot will be shown soon!

Sarah and Madison, My Nieces!

I went over to my step sisters home last week to take some photos of my baby niece Madison. While setting up for the photo, Madison’s big sister Sarah decided to get in front of the camera and start posing! This was just completely random! You never know what kids will do next.

Branford Girls Hockey

The Branford Girls Hockey team is back and better than ever. This team was started by the students and has really taken off. The team photo and individual photos were taken to help them raise funds to keep the team going. This was such a fun shoot. Next time I need to bring some spikey shoes cause shooting on ice was interesting!

Just about every wedding photographer in CT knows Naomi’s Salon. If they don’t, they should. Naomi Martinez and her crew are just amazing everytime I work with them. This time it wasn’t a bride in front of the camera, it was the artists behind the makeup and hairspray. I’ll start with Naomi herself, followed by her husband, and the rest of her crew.

Second Annual Soundview Family YMCA Holiday Portrait Day

This year I will be hosting the Second Annual Soundview Family YMCA Holiday Portrait Day.

On November 28th from 10-4pm, Photographer RE and the Soundview Family YMCA are having a Holiday Portrait Day at the Pine Orchard Yacht and Country Club in Branford. All proceeds will go toward the construction and services of the new YMCA in Branford. This new YMCA will support Branford, Guilford, Madison, and the surrounding area. This new YMCA is slated to have 2 pools, one being handicap accessible, a teen center, fitness center, child care center, and more!

You will see your photo immediately. Your photo will be e-mailed to you so you can make your own holiday cards OR you will be able to purchase prints from Photographer RE.

The YMCA is a non-profit organization and they need your help! Photographer RE is donating his time and services free of charge. A minimum donation of $40 to the Soundview YMCA is required. All proceeds will benefit the YMCA!

50 years. I can’t even imagine being married for 50 years. Kelley and I have been married for 1 year and 4 months. I can only look forward to not only being married for 50 years, but to have such a big and wonderful family too.

Construction photography has been in my business for quite a while. I’ve photographed the construction and demolition of buildings for major construction companies. Each shoot was done on a monthly basis over the course 3-14 months.
