Multiple Sclerosis Dinner of Champions

The 32nd MS Dinner of Champions was held at the Hyatt Regency in Old Greenwich. The event featured a cocktail reception followed by a four course dinner. Keynote celebrity speakers from the world of sports, including NY Giants and Super Bowl XXV MVP Ottis Anderson, highlighted the evening’s festivities which concluded with a robust live auction for vacations and getaways, golf packages, one-of-a-kind autographed collectibles and much more.

National MS Society, Connecticut Chapter events, such as MS Dinner of Champions, ensure ongoing scientific research to find better treatments and a cure. These funds also provide for the continuation of vital programs and services offered by the chapter to those in Connecticut living with multiple sclerosis.

3rd Annual Soundview Family YMCA Holiday Portraits

Photographer Richard Esposito presents the Third annual Holiday Portrait Sessions to benefit the Soundview Family YMCA in Branford, CT. We are really excited that they will be held for the first time at the newly opened YMCA in Branford on Friday November 26th for their holiday portraits. All proceeds will benefit the Soundview Family YMCA. Our backdrop will change this year to a golden background with red carpeting tying it all off with hints of green.

Cirque du Cure – An Evening at the Moulin Rouge!

The annual Promise Ball hosted by JDRF’s North Central CT and Western MA Chapter has become the area’s premier charitable gala. Its outstanding fundraising results are attributed to the Foundation’s many friends and supporters. In 2007 and 2008, the Promise Ball broke Greater Hartford records for events of this type by raising more than $1 million each year for diabetes research. The continued commitment to JDRF’s mission was evident when three quarters of a million dollars was raised in 2009, an impressive total at the peak of the economic downturn. They hoped to continue this record of success with the 2010 Promise Ball which was held on May 1st.

MS Society at the Society Room

How fitting for the MS Society to have their Taste of Hope event at the Society Room in Hartford.

Hartford area’s finest restaurants and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Connecticut Chapter presented the fourth annual MS Taste of Hope, a food, wine and spirit tasting. Guests enjoyed fine wine and sumptuous cuisine prepared by some of Connecticut’s most renowned chefs.

Second Annual Soundview Family YMCA Holiday Portrait Day

This year I will be hosting the Second Annual Soundview Family YMCA Holiday Portrait Day.

On November 28th from 10-4pm, Photographer RE and the Soundview Family YMCA are having a Holiday Portrait Day at the Pine Orchard Yacht and Country Club in Branford. All proceeds will go toward the construction and services of the new YMCA in Branford. This new YMCA will support Branford, Guilford, Madison, and the surrounding area. This new YMCA is slated to have 2 pools, one being handicap accessible, a teen center, fitness center, child care center, and more!

You will see your photo immediately. Your photo will be e-mailed to you so you can make your own holiday cards OR you will be able to purchase prints from Photographer RE.

The YMCA is a non-profit organization and they need your help! Photographer RE is donating his time and services free of charge. A minimum donation of $40 to the Soundview YMCA is required. All proceeds will benefit the YMCA!

JDRF Walk

Sunday I photographed the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk at Six Flags New england. To say it rained that day is an understatement, nevermind it was bone chilling cold. But that didn’t stop people from coming out! I’m hearing they estimated 3,000 walkers! They raised more than $400,000! Great job everyone!
