I always love talking to my wedding clients over the years. This time I received a call from Dorothy and Dan whose wedding I photographed in October of 2007. They reside in Arizona, but were visiting family in Connecticut this past week. Since they are expecting their first child they thought it would be nice to go back to the location of the wedding at Harkness Memorial State Park for a photo session. Great to see you you Dorothy and Dan!

Mia Capri Esposito’s First Session

Last night I had to take out and test most of my equipment to get ready for a magazine cover session today. I had to test everything out, so I setup a little session for Mia!

As many of you already know, I recently took a little time off to welcome the arrival of our baby girl Mia Capri. She was born on September 27th at 3:49pm. She was 8lbs 15oz and 21 inches long. Oddly enough she was born 13 days after mommy’s birthday and 13 days before daddy’s birthday! Mommy is doing great since the birth. Mia has been a wonderful baby, sleeping regularly and very content. Here a few few pictures from the hospital!

I went over to my step sisters home last week to take some photos of my baby niece Madison. While setting up for the photo, Madison’s big sister Sarah decided to get in front of the camera and start posing! This was just completely random! You never know what kids will do next.

I’ve done events for charities, no matter how big or small.

Construction photography has been in my business for quite a while. I’ve photographed the construction and demolition of buildings for major construction companies. Each shoot was done on a monthly basis over the course 3-14 months.

Kelley has this awesome friend that makes the most amazing chocolate covered Oreos, chocoloate covered Nutter Butters, chocolate covered __________ (fill in the blank). She make amazing stuff to give as gifts, for parties, etc. She keeps talking about her daughter everytime she’s over. So we finally decided to have some pictures done. How adorable is this child??? Aiyanna gave us a good 15 minutes of photo time before she let loose the tears!

I really feel lucky to have the clients that I have. Many of them I now consider friends. Since last year, when I photographed Natalia and Alexander’s wedding, I’ve really gotten to know the them. And now, Natalia is 6 months pregnant! I went down to their home in Stamford for some excellent Mexican food for lunch before photographing Natalia’s belly.

Natalia loves sunflowers.

Looks to me to be a boy.

I have to say that since posting the first pregnancy session, and some baby sessions, I’m booking more and more right now. Plus I know about 9 pregnant people at last count. If anyone is interested in a pregnancy shoot or baby shoots, please schedule them at least a month in advance! That’s about the current wait time.

You may remember Melissa’s pregnancy session from not that long ago. We’ll now it’s Melissa and Mike’s baby session! We welcome Alanna into the world. I love photographing baby personality, and Alanna was just giving it all to me.

Mike has a way to make the baby cry. Melissa just has to put her in his hands and it happens.

Then the bottle comes and Alanna stops crying.

I know, it’s tough being beautiful and having your picture taken.

Dinner & A Baby

The other night our friends Melissa and Mike came over for a little dinner with Kelley and I. We wanted to get together with them before their baby came. Melissa is due in a few weeks, but is probably going to give birth any day now. She debated taking some pregnancy photos. It was pretty much now or never! So before dinner we went into my office and snapped a few shots. These are just a few out of a dozen images we took.

Mommy Maria and Daddy Luke have welcomed their beautiful baby girl Eleia into the world. Just like I couldn’t stop photographing her, Eleia couldn’t stop looking at the camera. She was glued to it! A natural in front of the camera.

It didn’t matter where I was, Eleia heard the camera and just had to look for it.

Even if it meant turning all the way around to strike a pose.

“Alright! Enough pictures! I’m tired, in the grass in a white dress, I’m done!”

“I’m over it.”
